Terms of use
The terms for using the Meridian Retaining Walls website, including what the information on it is, and is not.
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms cover your use of meridianretainingwalls.com, operated as Meridian Retaining Walls. By using the site you agree to them.
What the service is
Meridian Retaining Walls is a referral service, not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise or guarantee construction or repair work. We pass your request to an independent local contractor. Contractors are responsible for holding any license, registration or permit their state and city require, and for their own work, pricing, insurance and warranties.
Information on this site
Everything on this site is general information. It is not engineering, legal, surveying or construction advice, and it is not a substitute for a site visit by a qualified professional.
Rules and fees change. Building codes, permit thresholds, fees, review times and irrigation district requirements are set by the state, the city or county and the district, and they are updated from time to time. They can also apply differently to your property. What is written here may be out of date or may not fit your lot. Confirm the current requirements with your building department, and with the irrigation district where one is involved, before you design, buy materials or start work.
Prices are not quotes. Cost figures on this site are typical published ranges. They are not a quote, an estimate or an offer for your project, and no price here is promised by anyone. What a retaining wall costs depends on its height and length, the material, access for equipment, soil and digging conditions, drainage, whether engineering or a permit is needed, removal of an existing wall and what the wall has to support. Only a written quote for your site, from the contractor who will do the work, tells you your price.
Drawings are illustrative. Diagrams show general principles and are not to scale. They are not construction drawings.
Your agreement with a contractor
Any agreement is between you and the contractor. Ask for their license or registration number, proof of insurance and a written contract. We are not a party to it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from work done by contractors or from reliance on general information on this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
