This privacy policy covers meridianretainingwalls.com, operated as Meridian Retaining Walls (“we”, “us”). It explains what we collect when you use the site, call us or send a request, and what happens to it.
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email address, phone number and the details you give about your wall or project.
- Calls. If you call the number on this site, the call runs through a call-tracking service that logs your phone number, the time and the length of the call. Calls are not recorded unless you are told so at the start of the call.
- Site use. Like most websites, our hosting provider logs your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure and to understand which pages are useful.
How we use it
- To talk with you about your wall and to pass your request to an independent local retaining wall contractor who can visit, quote and do the work.
- To answer your questions and follow up on your request.
- To measure which pages and calls lead to requests, so we can improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or for anyone else’s advertising.
Who receives it
- The contractor your request goes to, so they can contact you about your job. They use it to provide their service and are responsible for their own handling of it from then on.
- Service providers who run the site for us: hosting, call tracking, email and form delivery. They may use it only to provide those services.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
Calls, texts and email
When you send the form you agree that we and the contractor your request goes to may call, text or email you about that request, including by automated means. This consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, and tell us at any time if you no longer want to be contacted.
How long we keep it
We keep request and call records for as long as we need them to handle your request and for our business records, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing contact@meridianretainingwalls.com. We reply within 30 days. Some states give their residents specific privacy rights; we extend the same choices to every visitor.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful: pages viewed, how long people stay, the general area and device they visit from, and whether someone taps the phone number or sends the form. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We use it only to improve the site, not for advertising, and we do not use advertising cookies. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Children
This site is for adults planning work on their property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards for the information we hold. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as payment details through the form.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
