About Meridian Retaining Walls
Meridian Retaining Walls is a retaining wall service for Meridian and the Treasure Valley, focused on one thing: retaining walls that are planned properly, priced clearly and built to last.

- 8 Treasure Valley cities
- Homes, HOAs, builders and property managers
Who we are
Retaining walls are our whole focus
Meridian Retaining Walls works on one kind of project: retaining walls in Meridian and the cities around it. A new wall to level a yard. A leaning wall that needs to come out. A long wall along a commercial lot line.
Staying with one trade in one valley is the point. A retaining wall here answers to Meridian's frost depth, to hardpan a few feet down, to canal easements along the back fence and to a permit line most people measure wrong. Knowing those details before the first shovel goes in is what keeps a wall standing and a budget intact.
We work with you from the first call: the slope, the wall type that suits it, what your city will ask for and what it's likely to cost. The construction itself is carried out by independent local retaining wall contractors. How it works

How we work
From first call to finished wall
- Step 1
Tell us about your wall
Call or send the form with the length, the height, what sits above the wall and a few photos.
- Step 2
Talk it through
Wall type, drainage, what your city will ask for and the price range to expect for a wall like yours.
- Step 3
Site visit and quote
A local contractor who takes the job looks at the site and prices the work. Ask for that price in writing.
- Step 4
Permit, build and final check
Permits and engineering where the wall needs them, then base, drainage, wall and backfill in that order.

Keeping it accurate
Permit rules, fees and prices on this site
The permit thresholds, fees and review times on our pages come from each city's own code, handouts and fee schedules, from Idaho's residential code and from the irrigation districts. Each page carries its review date and sources at the foot.
Rules and fees change, and they can apply differently to your lot. Treat what you read here as a starting point and confirm it with your building department. Prices shown are typical published ranges, not a quote: your wall's height, access, soil and drainage set the real figure.
